Class 166 and class 101 problems

It's what the driver sees, it's possibly more important than even how it looks on the outside - but it's the most difficult bit to build. Learn how to make your own cabs, or how to use the ones that have been produced, how to wire up the controls and much more!

Class 166 and class 101 problems

Postby jands1 on Thu Jan 12, 2012 9:40 pm

Following the changes to 2012 I have a couple of niggles with the above stock
On the class 166 the throttle/brake is very sensitive and often drops to full brake of its own accord.
The class 101 works fine but has no rain effect on its windows
Have tried all the obvious cures
I know these have been reported before but have been off line for a bit
Does anyone know if they have been fixed or is this still a work in progress.

You will have to wait for RSC to update the 101 ( the ghost glow needs some work too ). You won't have to wait so long for the 166, coz I've fixed that. Controls moving on their own ( or actually you moving them and then they don't stop ) is usually a sign of low fps though.
My posts are my opinion, and should be read as such.

Good news
Don't think 166 is frame rate issue though cos I'm running it on an empty scenario on settle 7 carlisle and getting frame rates well over 50 with the limiter off.
Think a few others also had this problem a few weeks ago.

Fair enough - I occasionally get that issue when fps stutters and the controls forget to stop moving. Not had any issues with the revamped 166 controller ( it's near identical to the 325 mod I posted if you have that, just a few more notches ).
