Painted in 4 days by a group of volunteers. It'll only be staying like it until the end of September however so if you want to see it then go this weekend or visit our Works Open Day over the August Bank Holiday!

Anyone know what her original running No. was ?

The present No. is out of class, 16410-27 (later 16910-27) was actually a Drummond Class 45 0-6-2T according
to records.
Or was the class modified at a later date than I don't have a record of ?

Will be gratefull of any info.
Kev.

Numbers went from early LMS 16410, through mid 30s 7327 to BR 47327.

I think. She carried the 16410 prior to overhaul whilst in the Museum at Swanwick. Carried BR Black 47327 in the 1990s and was returned to steam in 2006 in Thomas livery.

The current livery is MR style marroon, incorrect for a Jinty or any freight loco, but the number is correct. This was also carried by sister 47357 which, appropriately, also carried the number 16440 for a while.

Thanks Stephen, I will have to dig deeper, the LMS database shows ......................
7327 as the LMS No. & 47327 as the BR No. but there's no mention of the 16410 numbering. :-?
